I found the small 'roller', which moves inside the throttle assy. mounted on top of the valve cover, is damaged and not turning (it's no longer round...more-like FLAT). Does anyone know of a possible source for this part? No luck anywhere yet. Could this cause an increase in current draw during uphill acceleration and maybe cause the cruise to 'over-current' and turn off? still no workie but at any speed over 85mph (oops..) it seems to hold speed better. Maybe it's engine load related... . Stranger by the day.
