I have an 87 300TD. The fan is intermittent, and one of the threads said he found a fuse with a hairline crack that fixed it. The fuse isn't in the fuse box. Does anyone know where it is?

Fuse 7 covers the climate control system and heater valve. Should be 16 amp.

Fuse 9 covers comfort circuit relay terminal #86. Should be an 8 amp.

Blower motor auxiliary fuse holder is located in the component compartment (relay box) directly aft of the fuse box.
