Rear window Q
How rare are horizontal rear defroster windows? Instead of the nearly invisible vertical ones...

I'd be interested to know how tough it would be to obtain the components for the power rear window shade; to install them in a 124. Anyone know if the steel shelf at the back window is an entirely different stamping for the cars with that feature?

Horizontal defrosters rare? I would have guessed that 90% or more had the horizontal style (US cars of course). Just based on the cars I see around here.
I didn't know the vertical types existed until my sister brought one home. Never seen them before, or at least never noticed. Haven't seen another in person since.
