I've been modifying how my 300SD handles. you can see most of what I've done in this thread.
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=204401 quick review of what I've done: THE REAR Changed rear diff mount installed 3 nub rubbers in the back installed 116 rear sway bar installed bilstein HDs THE FRONT Chopped one coil out of the springs installed bilstein HDs and now, this weekend i took out the front springs once again. and i installed the 2 nub spring rubbers up front. and i installed the coil-in spring rubbers. the car handles perfect. its like night and day between the way it was before and modifications and how it is now. the problem is this. i took a measuring tape to the car. here is how is stacks up. Front Drivers side - 26.25 inches from ground to fender lip Front Passengers side - 27 inches from ground to fender lip Rear Drivers side - 25.5 inches from ground to fender lip Rear Passengers side - 26 inches from ground to fender lip so that confirms what my eyes been telling me. my car leans to the drivers side... that no shock because I'm a big guy... and i normally ride around alone. the question is. how do i correct this. i wasn't really a problem until i let Justin drive my car, and i fallowed him and i was able to see it's lean. that just makes me mad. anyone have any ideas hot to correct the lean? I've already thought about the twist in aluminum knuckles... that would raise the drivers side... but its a little to getto for me. and thats saying a lot.
