tranny modulator ques....
when replacing the modulator,is there a particular setting that should bemade BEFORE test driving for first time?Or is it get in,drive small distance and adjust as needed to correct shifting?Only reason I ask is because there is a piece of paper in modulator box that says before driving adjust as the shop manual states.looked in manual and can find no reference to this.Just changed it and do not want to damage it since it just got replaced.thanks for any and all input as to this issue.

I think the pressure needs to be set with a guage. I think the wiki has a description of how to do it.

I seem to remember Brian Carlton posting a reply to modulator adjustment this past year. Try a search, I'm sure you can find something on it...
