What is this relay?

I'm pulling the dash and heater box to repair the battery rust on my 240TD and I found this relay unplugged. It is on the left side right behind the park brake release knob. I also found a bunch of 1/2 as-ed wiring "repairs" which will also get fixed while I'm in there. I read a lot of threads about how to pull the dash before I started and I will say that on this car, the A pillar covers and the steering wheel must be removed. It was tight even then and I'm not looking forward to reinstalling it.

Thanks! Guess I won't worry about it being unplugged.

It also warns you if you leave your lights on or leave your keys in the ignition.....

reconnect it, and rewire the relay contacts to operate one of those random animal sound effect boxes, your passenger's won't know what to think.....
After all, it IS a jungle out there.....

I have actually toyed with doing this to replace the missing siren on my fire engine, lol.
