Clutch problems with my '83 300d
I was driving along yesterday with no problems and went to shift and clutch pedal went to the floor with little to no pressure and would come back up but had no clutch activity. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

What do you mean by no clutch activity? You might be really low on fluid or have air in the lines. Check the brake resevior for fluid, clutch master and slave for leaks, and bleed the slave.

look very close too be sure there is brake fluid in the aft half of the resevior. Then pull back the carpet in front of the pedals and find the hard line from the clutch master and make sure its not wet with brake fluid. Then check the slave, on the passenger side bell housing.

I'm leaning more toward bad master or low reservoir. My '77 had a bad slave cylinder when I bought it and it was fine in normal driving, just needed to add fluid and pump up about 50 strokes at the pedal after sitting overnight.
