pix needed of 240D vac lines

Hey folks,
If anyone has a 240D and a digi camera, I'm in need of photos showing
1.the vac lines above the injection pump
2.the 'T' off the main line from the vac pump to the booster
3. shots of the vac lines and fittings as they go towards the firewall
4. shots of the vac lines on the valve cover top.

Please em me directly if it's too hard to post here: minibitz@optonline.net
The later the car the better. I think I've got a Euro model cause it's an 1985.
Thanks

Here is one of my 240s engine bay. Not sure if its going to help much since my 240 is a 78, but thought I would throw it up anyway.

Guys,
I screwed up. We bought the car and it was neglected in maintenance. We've been going through it but there must have been many 'mechanics' who had their hand in this car. This past week, I was changing the oil filter, and knocked loose some vac lines. Now I can't shut down the car because the vac lines are plumbed wrong, by me. Also the injection shut down linkage is not adjusted correctly so it won't shut off at the emergency shut down lever. BTW is anyone has any specs on adjusting the linkage on that part, I'm more than interested.
Sam Ross is trying his hardest to help me figure it out.
Is there any diagram that says: yellow line=windows, black with red = ? purple=?
Anyone have a link to that kind of page?
I'm pretty sure I can sort this out fairly quickly if I knew what went where. Duh!
My vacuum pump in in transit, so until I get that, I really won't know specifics on how much vacuum, but the car ran well with all the accessories. climate control, windows, door locks. and shut down. I mucked it up. Pix are worth thousands of words. My vcv is
mounted on top of the ip if that helps.
Thanks.

This might help. Do a thread search. I know someone posted a hand drawn color coded diagram of the 123 vacuum system because I have a copy of it. Unfortunately it doesn't have the link printed on it.

I think i sorted this thing out with Sam Ross, I'll post pictures and explanations when I'm done at the end of the week.

Hat in hand

I'm still waiting for my mityvac to arrive. Maybe tomorrow. Can anyone tell me: on my 240d automatic, I have 2 vac lines to the key switch. Where do these get plumbed into the lines in the engine compartment? They are brown and brown with a purple tracer. I believe one goes to the bottom of the injection pump shutdown. What about the other?

Next, I've been viewing a vac. schematic and there is a part labeled "central plug". Is this the bit that hangs just inside the firewall and connects the climate control & door locks on the reverse side, and has most of the major plumbing on the front with a line coming from the major 'T'? Or is the central plug on top of the valve cover?

One goes to the shut-off actuator on the IP, the other tees off the big line from the engine vacuum pump to the brake booster.

Thanks Sixto.
I'm now thinking that the vac pump is not working up to it's specs. Hope I get the mity vac today.

If the brakes work, there's more than enough vacuum to shut off the engine.

good point. The booster sometimes does not have enough vac and the pedal goes very low on the first pump, then second pump brings the pedal up to normal height, with normal feeling brakes. Initially I thought it might be a bad master cyl letting fluid pass internally, but now think it's vac related also.
Am I correct that the bits that shut down the engine are the two lines coming from the key switch? One to the ip and the other to the vac T?
