Just went by the Local TOMS here in South Eastern PA and Diesel was 4.07
|
In seattle im fortunate because dino is about 3.99/gal and good old Biodiesel has stayed around 3.60/gal. Its a win/win situation because i used to buy bio even when it costed more than dino. im hoping to see dinodiesel climb and biodiesel stay the same or drop to push more people into it.

pulled into FasTrack the other day- they took down their diesel price sign- I found out why- $4.15/g probably more now...
National Grid is next door (lots of F-250s and Chevy 3500HDs) it looks like a used car lot- there are about 5 trucks for sale.. oh well...we need BIO in the NorthEast! |
Right now petro diesel is $4+per gallon. Locally produced BD99 at the pump or delivered to your home, for on road use, $3.54per gallon. Trouble is, that station is on the other end of the state. I am getting setup to have bulk home delivery of on road fuel. RT

I just joined my local biodiesel co-op. I buy B100 @ $3.50 per gallon. The fuel is made from 100% veg oil, not chick fat. No difference in performance and engine seems to run quieter.

$3.97 here in Col.
|
i notice my car starts faster on Biodiesel.

$3.70 is the cheapest in town right now. The bio down by the port in Tacoma is currently $4.59  Maybe I need to start filling up on that cheap(ish) Seattle bio whenever I'm up there...

I see the other end suppliers are certainly adding on a fuel charge for the consumer. |
It just hit
$4.24 out here at the NC Outer Banks - up from $3.88.
If any of you are headed out here for holiday, bring your own......... |
Kia's keep lookin'
better and better! Just kidding! I am thinkin' of tradin' in the two diesels and getting somethin' else though.
My wife is now working to pay for groceries and diesel. She used to make our "extra" money but not anymore at $4.00/gal. I told her to give her two week notice. We'll sell the '87 300D first and use the "87 300SDL for now. It's bad when you can't afford to drive to work! Is it alright for a preacher to cuss???:o Kevin |
I was just reading....
The railroads and large trucking companies started buying 10 year fuel contracts a few years ago that locked them in at $2.00 (or below). So say good bye to the independent guy's.....
