This is how the current holes are set up:

Green - Pass through 8mm (for the 10mm ->8mm stud
Blue - Pass through 10 mm (will be counter sunk to fit a nut or allen head bolt)
Red - Threaded 10 mm (will receive bolts from back side of stock manifold, threaded holes in manifold will need to be bored out to pass through holes
Purple - Threaded 8mm (will have studs inserted to mount GT2056V)

Jon,

I just want to say that it's UNBELIEVABLY kind of you to offer this! As someone who's always had to hand cut/file/whatever and struggle to make custom parts, this service is GOLD!

Thanks and I may have something for you in the future...

BTW - Some nice EGR blockoff plates (1/4", instead of 1/8") would be sweet:

turbo adaptor

This thing will make bolt up of the jeep/sprinter turbo just fun. Can't wait to put one of these in my car. Let me know if you want an adapter.

How much was that? Our waterjet guy is now out on Family leave. His wife passed away this past Saturday...I'm still waiting on what my cost would be using 1/2" SS.

Mine is just the testing blank. Just wanted to show it loaded on. I could probably use this if I was willing to forgo the 4th t3 bolt.

Nice work!

I have an idea for a project- it's probably something you could sell to many owners of old 107 chassis SLs- some kind of bracket to repair/replace the one at the top of the console where the radio and climate control are located. Replacement consoles go for a lot of money, and entail replacing the whole piece from the radio all the way past the shifter, ending on the transmission tunnel where there's a parcel tray.

A bolt up bracket to hold the radio and climate control would be awesome! Here are some images to describe the area I'm talking about. This is a very, very common 107 chassis issue.

Just an idea-

Cheers,

JAS

radio plate

Yeh, if you can draw something up I'll make a prototype. I'm actually getting ready to make a console section for my 84 300d that replaces the wood panel that covers the shifter and all the power window buttons. This one will be a metal one that continues where the other one left off and will have cup holder holes and it will also have a hinge so you can lift up the cup holder section and stash stuff. It will make sense when you see it. I'll post pics when I'm done.

I'm also working on some decently priced valve adjustment wrenches that actually nest together unlike other models and an all metal tig welded air intake/oil bypass kit to let the turbo breath.
