Need something fabricated?
Hello all,
Just wanted to let everyone know that I work in a machine shop as a tig welder and waterjet designer/operator. I have the privilege to make just about anything. Any ideas? Here's all I could come up with so far with .1875 stainless ![]() ![]() Last edited by dieselkid; 04-01-2008 at 05:42 PM. |

About how much would it cost for you to make a turbo flange adaptor? It would basicly be a 1/2" steel plate with a big hole in the middle, and 8 holes in a pattern along the outside for bolts/studs.
Similar to this, but the one pictured was made for a diffrent turbo than I have:http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/attachment.php?attachmentid=33452&d=1148449019

If I decide to adapt my aftermarket cruise system to my car soon I may be in the market for a couple custom brackets to mount the vac servo and the control cable under the hood....

Looks AWSOME!!!! (for other's reference the CAD drawing it is based off of is attached)
The two things I think will need to change are: 1) the holes may need to be resized to allow them to be tapped. (My mistake, I think my drawing used holes designed for passing a bolt through) 2) The inlet hole will need to be the circular one, and I think we will have to grind the transition between the rectangular hole and circular hole our selves (unless your waterjet can cut in 3 dimensions. I'll revise my CAD drawing and get it to you ASAP.

yeh
the t3 bottow two holes are .266 diameter for an 8mm tap. The bottow two turbo inlet holes are also .266 to get a 8mm tap. The left upper holes is 10mm. and the upper right t2 is 11 mm so a 10mm can go through it countersunk. The last upper right tubro inlet hole is also .266 to get a 8mm tap.
-jon p.s. you can either have the square or round hole. You pick. |

You should make cross bars for the TD's. Nice and tasteful just like the originals.

Dream
Jon,
A pipe to connect the Crossover part of the Intake (on the 602.XXX series) directly to the Turbo charger compressor outlet.['Lose the "Flapper valve" pipe AND the EGR pipe foolishness]. The attachment is of the pipe from a Euro NA 602(and their crossover pipe is slightly longer than ours,so the construct would have to be slightly longer.) If you would look at this thread: (reply #18) http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=212097&page=2 Gsxr's idea will become clear. I cannot downsize the picture in #18 enough to re-post it. EDIT: the actual length will be between 144mm and 157mm. GSXR will let us know the "Exact" next week when he's back in town. Thank You!
