Which way do I turn steering box locknut?

I am trying to adjust my W123 steering box and I have encountered a really tight 19mm locknut - I am assuming it breaks loose CCW (lefty loosy, righty tighty), correct? I know the allen head bolt adjusts CCW to tighten up steering, but I'm just making sure about the locknut.

On my 126 it was CCW to loosen the lock nut, and I've understood that the gearbox is the same on both cars, so...
It was tight when I first loosened it to tighten mine, so it might just be the years and grime holding yours.

I hope this helps some.
