Where's the best place to get new shocks?
I'm thinking I might need new shocks soon, they're squeaking for the first time starting yesterday. I hate to get anything new, I've already replaced a bunch of things recently. Wish I could find some used (like from a car that just got them new, but then their engine stopped, so they junked the car). Fat chance of that happening. The value of my car has dropped with the increase in diesel fuel, so I don't want to keep pumping new parts in it.
I'd heard Bilsteins are the way to go, but might have to do some lesser brands at this point; they're 1/2 the price. jeff 1991 300d, 118k Last edited by jbach36; 03-24-2008 at 11:12 PM. Reason: incomplete |
