free 124 OVP - if you need to replace
I finally got around to replacing my OVP because of an annoying intermittent failure (no tach, no AC, no turbo, poor idle) which would happen about once a month. I temporarily solved the failure with a few brisk taps with a screwdriver handle directly on the ovp.
anyway, I bought a new one from phil for $80 and it took all of 5 minutes to replace (basically like changing a fuse in a hard to get to location). so - I have the old OVP and if anyone wants to open it up and resolder it then they could have it for the actual shipping price, just send me a pm. thanks Dan |

Does the W126 have one of these? If so...where is it located. I looked the part up on fastlane and it claims there is one on the W126......where? And if it fails what would be the symptoms?

Should be center of the car, just ahead of the wiper assembly on the 126 (next to the computer).
Symptoms include ABS light, no A/C compressor, and no tachometer (on the 124, 126 similar?).
