Can I bypass the fuel thermostat & heater?
My '87 300D has an intermittant air leak that seems to be coming from the Fuel thermostat, or possibly the hidden place where the fuel hoses come and go after that (dissappears near the back of the valve cover) which I assume is where it gets heated(?).
What would happen if I just ran my supply line straight to the lift pump, and bypass that whole fuel heating mess?
