Guide rod mount replacement --'83 300sd

I am planning a replacement of the guide rod mount. Im getting squeaks eminating from (it seems) the guide rod. I replaced the shock and still get squeak upon compression of the suspension.
Do I need a shop with a press to r&r the guide rod mount?

BTW; GREAT diy I found on a site search!
