Guide rod mount replacement --'83 300sd
I am planning a replacement of the guide rod mount. Im getting squeaks eminating from (it seems) the guide rod. I replaced the shock and still get squeak upon compression of the suspension.
Do I need a shop with a press to r&r the guide rod mount? BTW; GREAT diy I found on a site search! |

I used a 4x4 and a hammer to install the ball joint into the bracket. Do the drives side first, its easier, that way the learning curve isn't as sharp. Its easier than whunter makes it seem.
