Stop lights ... stopped
Last night I had a not-so-friendly law enforcement officer tell me that my stop lights were not functioning. Last summer I had the same problem, except it was only the brake light switch under the pedal. Now nearly one year later I've got the same problem- bulbs and fuses are just fine. Could that brake light switch have failed again, or would you believe this is a wiring/electrical issue? Or is there some other part I'm overlooking that has a hand in making the lights flick on when my foot tells them to?
Thanks, Geoff

There is nothing between the fuse and the lamps except the brake switch and wiring. You might try jumpering the switch and see if things don't brighten up above the rear bumper. Last edited by tangofox007; 05-10-2008 at 03:40 PM. |
