1985 300SD blowing the #10 fuse and I need help!

My 1985 300SD is blowing the #10 fuse as soon as I turn the ignition to the glow plug cycle. I have unplugged the CCU, auxiliary water pump, monovalve and the temperature gauge in the dash and it is still doing it. Any help in tracing the problem would be appreciated.
Thanks

Check the kickdown switch wiring. This can get worn out where it runs under the carpet...

I unplugged the kick down switch and the fuse still blew. Any other thoughts on this one?
