a part from my 300 SD?

I was pulling into my driveway this morning and noticed a rubber wedge-shaped object that must have come from my car, which had been on ramps while I did some work underneath. Please see attachment. Can someone tell me what this part is and am I in trouble if it is not where it is supposed to be? I am planning a road trip tomorrow and would rather not have any surprises .

Thanks!

It does not look like anything I have ever seen on a benz.

Check the bottom of your ramps.

That looks like it could be one of the anti skid pieces from a ramp. Many of the plastic molded ramps for sale these days have those.

Just what I was going to suggest. Those pieces fall off of my ramps about 50% of the time.

Too new and clean to have fallen off a 24 year old car with 200+K miles.

I believe there are rubber dampers on each side of the rear axle. Might take a look.

How big is it? If about 1x3/4" it could be one of the wedges on the back of the grill - I think there are two.
