I am dropping my smokey white friend off for a state inpection tomorrow morning. I would like to reconnect the EGR, to avoid any possible problems. I have looked all morning for some pics to use as reference with no luck. I am sure they are out there, I just can't seem to find them. Thanks in advance!

Excuses are crutches for the weak

The easiest reconnect method is to install a set of intake and exhaust manifolds from a 78-80 300SD.

My apologies. I was not specific enough. What I need to do is reconnect the vacuum lines to the EGR.

There should be a vacuum tube diagram on the radiator support. If nothing else just run a vacuum line to is with a BB inline.

My SDL has been through emissions once with the EGR blocked off and removed, before I just had a plate in their and everything hooked up. So unless you looked close you couldn't see it.

After the guy doing it had to pop the hood to count the cylinders because he thought it was five...I knew I was pretty safe.

There is only one vacuum line to it. What else did you need pics of?
