Which of these mounts is the correct one for a 300D four speed?
I have one that looks like #128 from my 82, and one that looks like #126 from an 80. Is the 240 auto mount different yet?

My 240D auto mount looks like #126, but I don't have the #137 U Part.

126 looks correct but has to many holes to mount with. I will take a pic of it tonight.

#122 is the 240D mount I have on my car currently that had to be mounted diagonally.
#128 I'm not sure what uses it.
#126 is the correct one to use with the 300D 4-speed. Its identical to the one I posses but the picture has 4 extra mounting holes.
#124 I'm not sure what uses it.

Here are my crossmembers. Top is the W123 300D 4-speed crossmember, bottom is the W123 280E 5-speed crossmember. Neither have a part number stamped on them.

As a side note, both mounts are offset 1/2" to the left.

My 240D auto cross member looks just like the silver one in FI's Picture. Anybody know what bolt #143 and the U bracket is for?

Almost but not quite. The bolt hole locations are different on yours, mine are positioned more forward.

I just got my 82300D back from the shop. they installed the 4Speed for me (minus the shifter and drive shaft install...) they used the 240 crossmember and modified it to fit in the 300... I will jack it up and take pics if I like it.
