300SD Dead Instrument Cluster
OK I have read the many posts on instrument cluster problems, but have no luck. Brief history cluster went "dead" (no gas, oil, temp, blinkers, etc) several montha ago but came back ok in few days. Yesterday, it died again so decided to dive in. Found that the cluster fuse was blown this time (not last time). Fixed that pulled the cluster checked wires and still no luck
Reseated the three ground wire sets behind the cluster, reconnected cluster and still is dead. Fuse still OK. Ideas? Thanks for your patience if I have overlooked something

Now it Works !
Figured it out.
FYI others with this malady. First i looked at the wrong fuse. The corrrect #12 fuse that ran the cluster was badly corroded and thus had poor connections. removed old fuse, sanded contacts and put in new fuse. Now it works. Hope this helps someone else
