And its VERY possible that the seats were CHANGED-OUT at some point maybe to replace the original's that were worn or damaged. So what had TEX now has Leather or vise versa, its an easy swap.

Our project SD has a pretty nice condition Blue Leather interior.....its still fairly soft, in much better shape than mine thats for sure.

We've already established that the Russian VIN site was right, and the OP does have leather.

I reconditioned my leather seats with Leatherique products. It took a whole week or sanding, reconditioning, and re-dying, but they are soft and good as new again.
