Look what I bought

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=595288712

I paid $800 including him delivering it ~200 miles to my house. He says everything is perfect and it runs and drives great. Only minor surface rust bubbles. I wanted a bit of a project car and I found it. Please tell me i'm not stupid. We will see how it is on Thursday when he brings it down. Highest mileage 123 i've ever seen.

Hey you won it! Congratulations! You'll love it I'm sure. Not only is it a rare color (dark green?) but if worse comes to worse, you can use the parts to upgrade your current car to 85 specs! But I doubt you'll have to do this, I'm sure the car is perfectly sound and a good driver. I bet this is one of those cars that racked up a lot of miles when new, the best time to rack up the miles in my opinion.... Don't be shocked if you get 600,000 miles out of her. BTW, how is service history???

Yep I won it. We made a "under the table" deal for $800. He now says its grey, but it looks more like black pearl to me, im hoping it is. I dont know about service history yet, but by the looks of this car, it looks like it was extremely well taken care of, I dont think my seats look that good at 210K miles. Im just hoping the drivetrain is as good as he says it is, or no deal.

That IS a hard color to figure out. It looks a little different shade in each picture. You can hardly go wrong at that price.

I'm doing about 130 miles/day commute in the current job. We'll just see if I can catch up to you in mileage......

You Rock!

Looks like a great deal. I'm hoping to get a similiar deal on one that I've seen sitting at a condo. complex near my house, but I doubt it---body/interior looks about 90%.

I love my SD, but I think this is the best looking sedan ever!
