My '84 Euro model had an auxiliary fuel tank that was removed before I got the car. It mounted under the car behind the standard fuel tank & I believe was around 6" x 8" x 40". Possibly the vacuum res was relocated in order for this tank to fit.

Does anyone know of a source for one of these tanks?

Probably easier and cheeeper to have one made.

I was not aware that there was one available.

those dimensions give you about 8 gal. capacity
