Hit bump, dented oil pan, now car is slow? Please help

Well, I was going along a canyon road in my '78 300d and forgot about the large dip covered in scrape marks in the middle of the lane. I hit it fast enough to bottom out the front suspension and managed to dent the oil pan . I immediately pulled over to inspect the damage. The tranny may have also made contact with the ground, but more on that later. No difference in idle speed or smoothness, but I did hear a tapping sound that went away after a minute or two and the exhaust seemed to be quieter. When I drove off, the car seemed noticeably slower, I know these cars are slow in the grand scheme of things, but it is now painfully slow.

So now here's what I've checked out so far. The linkages are moving fully, I did a tranny service including filter change and full fluid exchange, i adjusted the valves earlier this month, removed exhaust and checked for dents or clogs, changed air filter.

Does anybody have any ideas? BTW, I still have sufficient oil pressure.

Thanks,
-Daniel
