300 sdl need a block heater
my sdl may be the only one ever built with no block heater [sold in cal im told] has anyone tried to replace or install a factory block heater , remove plug?? should i attempt this and i cannot seem to sorce a stock heater. thanks wally

use a lower radiator hose heater. Far easier to install and almost as effective as well as being inexpensive.

a large , i assume threaded plug with a 19 mm headn

You can install one. I have before. The kit is about $40. It comes with the element that goes in the threaded ole and the plug-in cable.
