1982 300TD wagon. Wierd climate control issue

I am working on a 1982 wagon. The issue is that I have cold A/C on the left end vent and HOT, heated air on the right end vent. Which vacuum pod controls this? I need the MB part numbers for the vacuum pod right behind the glove box. It controls re-circulation. It doesn't effect the hot air issue but it is bad. I also need the MB part # for the vacuum unit at the base of the heater unit. This is a US climate control set up. NOT european, 240 style.
I also have installed a "Known good" temperature control box that I use for testing. No change.
