Getrag 717.400? wtf? Euro? Part number questions

I found a rare item on the shelf of my warehouse. Its a Mercedes Benz 5 Speed. Its maked 300D 5 Speed in grease pen. The part number on the side is Getrag 123.260.20.01 and 717.400.04.08.49 I have called everyone I can think of trying to get more information about it. All that I have been able to find out is that there are none in the US and the are avavable rebuilt from Germany. Does anyone here have any information??

Thanks
-Joey
