85 300D Water Temp Sensor
First of all, thanks to everyone who has contributed on this site. In the past week and a half, I have replaced all four shocks, the blower moter, water pump, all belts, and done some rust treatment (once I got the exterior door moldings off).
That said, my inattention to detail has cost me. While replacing the small metal line on the block, I removed the wires from the water temp sensors on the tstat housing. I forgot to put them back on and drove the car around, consequently chopping off one of the small plastic parts that attaches wire to sensor. I searched fastlane and several other part sites and haven't found the part. Where can I get that little plastic thingy (two out of three are fine, which, to paraphrase Meatloaf, ain't bad). Thanks, Alex 85 300SD 222k Last edited by ahuggard; 11-06-2008 at 06:29 PM. |
