Woot woot, found a 1985 300D for 1,000 with only 198,000 miles on it. Hood has 2 dents and some paint problems, but the rest of the car is very rust free. Going out to look at it tonight if it looks in good shape will buy it and then have 2 diesels (it begins )

Ha HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHA its a go, 1,000 dollars and its mine has a few issues that need to be addressed, needs a new primer pump and a diesel purge, but the tea kettle test was great very little blow by, shifts good and has a great ride, not perfect but no serious body rot! and for a car in Indiana thats an amazing thing. will post pics as soon as I get everything smoothed out. ohhh and the paint on the roof and hood need attention, but only has 198,000 original miles! my current benz has 331,XXX and counting!
