My Gauge Cluster

In my quest to figure out an electrical issue I had my dash cluster out so I went to town: Orange nail polish on the needles, red sharpie on the redline zones, orange sharpie on the 55, 65, &VDO; orange LEDs for flood, white, orange, and red for the dummy gauges. Still have a traditional bulb on the low fuel light because I can't figure out the polarity off-car and I don't use it enough to worry about it burning out.(Refill at 1/5 or 1/3 tank)

How do they look?

Wow you went to the extreme by painting warning level, 55 mph, VDO, REDLINE!!!!! there is not such thing as red line in a OM617 engine wont even reach the max rpm to self destruct or throw a rod....

I know, I know.
The "redlines" are so that my Mom/Brother/whoever will get the drift that something is wrong if the oil pressure drops to 1, or that it's in the 5500 rpm range, etc.

Also, I couldn't stop thinking of your "MY NEEDLES ARE ORANGE" the whole time I was doing this

Take another picture at night after installation - that's the real test.
