240D - Gas Burner - Looks like good deal...

Check this car out -- you would think, that if someone spent $2500 on detailing the body of this car --- they would have noticed the 'emblem' on the trunk ------- I guess I shouldn't be critical, and appologize - Owner may be dyslexic.

So in respect I'll move on from the 'emblem' issue --- So how about a $2500 body detail....You think that's more than just a wash and wax? Maybe that included inside detail too...?

We call that a paint job, in my area.

Another Rare, Classic 240D...

Check out this 240D --- ?

Actually a kind of neat MB -- I wonder how good the 'sound insulation' is in the engine cover 'box'?

And front wheel drive --- Did Benz do front wheel drive -- EVER?

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

On a side note, the LWB 240D actually does exist. Though they wouldn't call it a 240DL, that's Volvoish.
