Glow plugs

Hi I have 79 engine 617 in 81 body the uses the old style glow plugs i want to conver it to the new style glow plugs is there an adaptor to use new style plugs which smaller in diameter

diesel giant is a bit high, you can get the same kit for much cheaper at other places

Just buy the large Bosch Fast Glow plugs that hook in paralell.
0 250 201 044 Bosch LARGE bore, pencil type glow plugs. OM617.912 - up to 085945

I switched my 240 over the the pencil style plugs. All you have to do is put in the big body pencil style plugs and run a 10 gauge wire from the strip fuse to the first GP then put jumper wires to each of the next plugs and remove the ground wire to the block on the #1 cylinder and your set. It's that easy. No need for the newer style relay, unless you want the quick glow times.
