Fuel Leak at tank
I have tried to repair a leak in the tank to pump line (fresh line, not the return line). It keeps springing a leak. I thought the two leaks were due to rusted lines, but it has found yet another place to leak after a day of not leaking.
Is it possible that there is a build-up of excess pressure? Is there a vent to the tank which may be clogged?

well, it seems that the sitting for a number of years has allowed the fuel tank, and some of the lines to rust from the inside. As I fix one thing, the weakest link exposes another leak somewhere else. The latest culprit is a leaking fuel tank. Used replacement on the way.
BTW, looking at a 91 300D2.5 today. Looks like I can get it for about $1500. We'll see. Its not a replacement, just another one. I'm sure my wife will be REALLY happy to have another MB Diesel in the driveway
