You guys see this?

"These were the gold standard, with double glazing on the windows, enough to stop a 22 caliber bullet."

LOL

I see that on the bmw forums all the time. There was the double pane glass in the 7 series, then there was the armored glass that was much different. I guess people see the double pane and think its ballistic.

Wasnt the 95 Cleared of the Rod Bending issue?

I messaged him and voiced my displeasure that a fellow Texan would have such a deceitful ad. Everybody ought to carpet bomb him on his highly inaccurate description.
That engine ain't making 500K. It ain't making 249K!!

Supposedly from VIN A270000. This one's A213184.

Someone nearby check the head casting number for my sanity.

He's pretty confident the oil light comes on when it's 2 quarts low

The USDA is publishing car price guides now? I don't know how they have time for that, what with testing beef for E.coli and all their other duties.

Unless you can get that car for $2k or less it isn't worth it. You can get a gas S320 with 200k less miles thats 5-7 years newer for under $10k.

So $2k+rebuilt engine would be at least $8k, and you would still have a 250k car that I'm sure needs front end work. Throw a gear box in and your up to $10k.

Its almost a parts car.
