1984 300sd zero start heater
I am looking at purchasing a zero start heater from JC Whitney and was wondering if anyone else had installed one on a car like I have? Will it do the job? Where did you put it and where do you tie in the water supply? Help please!!!

There are a number of different zerostart heaters. Do a search on lower radiator hose heater for a simple effective, easily installed engine heater.

If you mean a tank type heater(circulation heater) they have been put in parallel with the heater core and seem to work ok that way they do need to be mounted as low as possible.
I imagine you know where the freeze plug heater and radiator hose heater are placed.
