Anybody bought Daniel Stern's Hella kit? Looks like there are three versions, based on the angle of the glass.

Here are some pictures of the mid-90s Subaru third brake light. It does not interfere with the rear dome light, although it is mounted directly behind it!

#1 - Closed Hatch
#2 - Open Hatch
#3 - View from driver's seat.

Nope - just standard incandescents. I forget which - I'll take a picture of the lights applied and post the bulb type, of which there are four in the fixture.

I LIKE IT! What Subaru were they from, a wagon or sedan? curious minds want more info!

Here is what they look like on at night.
The unit comes from either the Legacy or Impreza wagon - it's the same unit. Bulbs used are the Sylvania 912.
