Need WAY more info.
Condition, rust, functionality, cosmetics, etc.
The mileage isn't as big a factor as some other things, in particular- upkeep.

great looking engine compartment and undercarriage. Front seat and rear power window a little jacked up but body is nice. Little clunky shifting into second but she purred down the road nicely after five minutes

ASSUMING we are talking about a wagon. it could be a fair price, but at 344K, you are going to need a LOT of things if they have not been done.
does the SLS hydrolics work? does it have a split rear seat? third row seat? rear headrests? cargo net? luggage rack crossbars? a/c work? give us some pics, and a good description.

Thanks for your info. I am going to look at it today and take some photos.
Any suggestions on what to look for when purchasing? I own a 240d and have done much of my own work on it but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for all your help so far!!!!

I don't believe it is a wagon either. My friend is the one who has suggested looking at this particular car.

Does TD designate it as a wagon?

How does the particular letter designations work? I am not green but could use a good explanation.

Thanks again.

TD should designate it as a wagon (T for Touring). Though many people randomly tack TD to a sedan just because it's a TurboDiesel or something.

300D= sedan, 300TD= touring sedan, or wagon.

many peeps put the T in because the car has a "turbo diesel" badge on the trunk. however, turbos were not standard on 82 cars, except the wagons. so it is a good chance of being a wagon.

Actually, '82 marked the year for turbos across the w123 line, for the US. It was 81 that the wagon was the only w123 w/the turbo.
