Mystery Plug
So, I was tinkering with my 83 300sd and I found an unplugged electrical line to the right of the battery. It had electrical tape covering the male end. So, I took the tape off and plugged it in. Nothing changed....wondering if anyone knows what it does.
Just to the right of the battery. It is a double male with a single plastic male. It looks as though the connected wire fits into a metal bracket. any ideas? PS: my windshield washer fluid doesn't spray. that would be my first thought. It didn't spray once I plugged it in, but it could also need a pump and new lines and have the nozzle cleaned. |

Could be the brake pad sensor wires. PO, or hi mechanic unplugged and taped the one on my car, but left the sensors in place...
