Compression Tester - Put on Teflon Tape?
I just received my Harbor Freight Diesel Compression Tester. When I put on the coupler and adapter, should I put teflon tape on it? (not the part that goes on the GP)
Thanks.

Are you using the adapter that goes into the Glow Plug hole or will you be using the one that goes into the Injector Hole?

no. For me, it was easiest going through the injector holes. For the price of heat shields, it was worth it. Besides, I can check the glow plugs in place at the same time.

I had some problems with leaks at that joint with my Harbor Freight tool. Don't know if teflon would have helped. I ended up cranking it down very tight.
