I have a set of clogged up 606 injectors. None of the six spray, they all just “pee”. Before I rebuild them I would like to use them to test LubraMoly Diesel Purge to see if it actually works, or is just snake oil.

My plan is to test one injector with diesel purge for say 50 pumps of my pop tester and see if the injector shows an improvement in spray pattern. I will also test a control injector with straight diesel.

Thoughts? The combustion of the diesel purge is not supposed to aid in the cleaning is it?
