I tried a search, but the only failures of W126 odometers I could find involved broken gears. I have suspected my odometer is reading slow, and recently confirmed it; on a 180 mile trip the odometer only read 110 miles. I have fixed slipping W123 odometers using loc-tite before, will a similar repair work on the W126 odometer?
