Need to find a pic or diagram of the connectors on the loop style glow plugs, i mean those wire looking ones that connect from glow plug to glow plug on an early w123. Any help is appreciated.

Try asking the site archives about series glow plug circuits. There may be a pictorial there. What do you specifically want to know?
The connection path is above and below the tip area of the series plugs. There is a small insulator that separates the conductors at each glow plug. |

Hot goes to plug near the firewall and ground goes to block from plug at the front. The loop is insulated from the body of the plug and the current has to run in, thru the loop, and out to the next plug. The in and out sections of the plug are also internally insulated from each other. The in and out heavy loop wires need to be insulated from each other with the small ceramic insulator.
All that being said, a person is better off if they throw away the series plugs and replace them with the retrofit pencil plugs designed for that engine. Starts are much better with the pencil plugs. Should add about 10 degree of additional good starts in cold weather. No need to switch out the relay, just the plugs and wires that connect them.
