1995 E-300D rear window replacement
All,
I lowered the rear windows on the diesel today to air out the car. When I raised them back up they went about 90% up and stopped. The drivers side still will not go all the way up and it seems that pass side fell off the track and fell into the door. Bottom line, one stuck wondow, one hiding in the door. I'm fairly sure I can repair this mess but my main concern is how do you get the trim in the rear doors off so I can attack this problem? Both motors work but I find it hard to believe that both windows malfunctioned at the same time and in the same way. Your thoughts on how to remove the rear trim and possible cause for this problem. Thanks!

You have to get all of the inside door handle off first, then unscrew the door lock knob. Then you push up on the door panel, Be patient it will come up.
