lost turbo

OK, I replaced the Shutoff control with no difficulty. I did remove the air intake, and the idle plug but didn't touch the ALDA. The shutoff control works fine now but I have no turbo. I have read over the threads on what others have done and have a few specific questions.

When removing the intake manifold, I had to unplug what I assume is the airflow sensor. I plugged it back in with no problems. I also had to unplug some of the vacuum lines but they are back in the same place.

What do I do now? Can I use the mitivac to try to engage the wastegate at idle? Is that necessary to see if I am getting vacuum to the wastegate? What are some other options.
