Fix and Improve Front and Rear window sliders with out having to replace the motor
I couldn't think of anything else but I was able to find a solution to fixing the windows on the w126. To make sure they never brake again I reinforced the nylon with a washer in the back so if it broke the metal washer would still be there.
First off you need to take an angel grinder and get the surface ready for drilling. ![]() I bought a bunch of nylon bushings and chose to use the black ones because they were the thickest, also you cannot use nylon lock washers because you have no way to tighten them simply use 2 nuts ![]() I reinforced it with a metal washer just incase.. ![]() Then all you need to do is use a bunch of greese and they will work better then the factory because these can actually roll ... these are some of the other washers i considered using I was thinking about carving them out to fit ![]()
