question of the day after all the excitment

after hearing the cute little 5 cyl turbo run, and talking to the past owner of the rusty hulk of a car, i have decided that someone else must need this running gear more than i do. . . . i have it on craigs list for the motor and transmission that im told is, or was a couple years ago, in good working order.

what would be a reasonable price to ask for this unit as a complete unit or the engine or transmission as single units.

i am in northwest wisconsin, a long way from the rest of the world but we do have shipping companys plus this is a beautiful part of the country for a driving vacation.

so, how much should i expect to be offered for this stuff ? im too dam old to be fartin around with another project. i will put it on the for sale stuff here if i knew what to ask. . . . .

too many projects, far too few saturdays left. . . . . at 67 plus

the old guy

67 plus! Sheesh, you're going to be around for a long time. Don't stop doing stuff. You'll end up in a grave for sure if you do that. Stay busy and involved. Live life! You've earned the right.

Oh, might be a good idea to state what car the motor came out of. People are gonna ask.

67 ain`t old, it`s just a number. you should be retired from what you had to do to do what you want to do. every day is saturday or what ever day you want it to be. no job, no boss, no worries, just some creaks and grones maybe. keep on keepin on .

Iam 65 and just pulled two engines and transmissions, and reinstalled them. now Iam trying to figure out what else to tear apart. .

I use to think 65 was old until i got here .

Having just hit 60, I am glad, and encouraged to hear that.
