so I found a possible 5 spd donor for my 190D what parts do I need to get

I found a 92 190e 5 spd. If I were going to do a swap what are all the parts I would need & will I need anything else. I would expect to get the transmission W bell housing with slave cylinder, the pedal assembly, the shifter assembly w boot , the driveshaft do I need front and rear or just front, I know I will need a flywheel from a 300D. What am I missing?? Anything to make the speedo work? I probably won't change the rear end. Cheers Dan

If you aren`t changing the rear end, then leave the spedo. If you change the rear end, then get a spedo from the donor car.

you will need the fly wheel, throw out bearing, clutch disc, pressure plate, slave cylinder, master cylinder, transmission, driveline, peddle assembly, shift assembly, shift rods, possibly new bushings. clutch hard line from master to slave. going from auto to manual you will have to figure out the wiring for start and back up lights.

the w123 have to match ballance the manual fly wheel to the auto fly wheel. I assume you will have to do the same.

measure the difference between the transmissions, to see what you have,
I know on the 123 between the auto and manual trans is 10 inches or so. the manual is way shorter and lighter.

the transmission X mount may have to be changed if the trans rubber mount is in a diferent location, IE forward or back from where it is now.
